Goal

Demonstrate the influence of the particle size distribution of calcium carbonate in hard PVC compounds.

Resume

This work was developed at the Department of Materials at the University of San Carlos with the support of Dacarto, Solvay, Karina and TWB. It shows how the Natural Calcium Carbonate influences the mechanical properties of a rigid PVC compound, and to evaluate the behavior of PVC liners when subjected to Accelerated Aging.
